  3. you just need to eat about 200 more calories than your bmr. chill out man, its not rocket science
  4. To be honest, most muscle and weight gain powders are bollocks. Make sure you're eating healthy: low fat, lots and lots of protein, and keep the exercise regular, and you'll increase naturally. Just like there is no magic pill to make people skinny, there's also no magic pill to make people strong.
  5. Since we do not know how much you weigh, what your workout schedule will be, how old you are, what BMI you are... etc.. we can not really give you a definitive answer, however you can go to this link and look at "Transformations" to see how they did it. **Hint.. I am one of them... http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbinfo.php?page=Transformations
  6. My best advice to you is going Bodybuilding.com and use the search engine . There's TONS of articles on the subjects you are asking about. Sometimes its better to do your own research for a better understanding and not to be " spoon fed " . Also another good site on EVERY exercise is EXRX.net - go to weight exercises, then to exercise and muscle directory , then to weight training . It has a video demo with each exercise for each muscle group . Good luck and train hard
  7. Hey Jimmy, different bodies react differently to different methods and supliments etc etc. I know youve probably heard this a million times before that there is no magic powder that will create results over night. However creatine retains water in the muscle and therefore acts as leverage to accomplish heavier kilos. It worked wonders for me, i took as it in the morning, before bed and just before a workout. Drink shitloads with it and you should feel some difference. Tribulus was another sup that i really noticed 'feeling' change. It boosts testosterone and will give you extra grunt. It is extremely important to have lots of protein powder. You can buy tubs of whey protein at health shops or GNC. have as recomeded on tub in morning, after workout and before bed. Nutrition is half the battle with muscle gain and again it all comes down to your metabolism etc. The vague direction is to have six fist size meals a day spread out to keep youre metabolism burning however i sduggest speaking to a dietitian if your budget allows or further study what works best for you. High protein is best. You must be persistant and keep routine with meals and if you cant find time for this there are meal replacement supliments on the market. It is difficult to advise on an exact nutrition and substance evaluation for you however step into youre gym and speak to a personal trainer and they will bw more than happy to design a plan for youre desired outcome factoring youre biological makeup, metabolism etc. hope this is a rough pointer. Good luck bud!
  8. Eat Healthy, run around the block each day, do pushups and crunches whenever you wake up and whenever you go to bed, stuff like that
  9. all you are going to do is waste time and money and probably end up with an upset stomach , you cant start intense bodybuilding based on the fact you are stuffin yourself full of powders etc . cut out fat , drink semi skimmed milk , drink plenty of water, dont drink or smoke or stay up late and take it slowly . you will just crash and burn my friend - big muscles are the product of hard work and that way they stay on you, if you resort to too many supplements you will waste cash - get a good quality protein powder and dont ever take steroids or you will just become another dickhead in the gym that annoys real natural bodybuilders .
  10. Agree totally with Gabe and the guy above...there are no magic pills or powders mate, building muscle and keeping yourself in shape is the product of sensible work at the gym, combined with sensible diet and exercise. As the Mens Health book, "Banish Your Belly" states, and it is true, whatever goes into your body shapes the way that you are. And to avoid a flabby body you have to use the calories that you take (ie burn off your calories). When I started at the gym, it took me 3 days a week of 1.5 hour workouts, and about 6 months later I got a six-pack and big muscles. I didn't use any substances, I just worked out sensibly, built up my tolerance, worked a litle harder each time I went to the gym, and did physical activities outside of the gym, such as swimming, football, running etc.I also adopted a sensible diet, where I was eating a bowl of cornflakes with banana, working out in gym, small dinner etc...Good luck but be prepared for some hard work. If bodybuilding was easy, everyone would have a six pack! BTW Creatine occurs naturally in eggs...Personally, I would recommend Tuna, Mackeral and Salmon, high in Omega 3 and also containing Creatine, just don't cook it as this will destroy the creatine content...
  11. You can come down the local Gym at St Helens where I hang out, I can get you doing them squats and I can measure your biceps for you.
