HIPS,Are Home Information Packs still required in Britain?

Someone told me that HIPS have been disbanded, I cant believe this. It is such a useful item for speeding up English house sales. Can someone clear this up please, Mr bunion

A firm shapely hip is essential in attracting the would be prospectors and tempt them to look closer and run their imaginations wild thinking how it would be like if they could get their hands on that spot and were the occupants of the said piece of real estate. Hips should be flexible and you better be prepared for all kinds of offers. Best of luck in preparing your HIPS.
