Mr Britain

Mr McCain seemed a little anti-British and Canadian?

Why did almost seem to spit the words Britain and Canada when replying to Mr Obama on Health care? Was he being racist? Why did he. It should read Ray we pay for our Healthcare via our taxes. But it true in the sense that everybody is entitled to it whether they pay tax or not. dKarin as above we pay direct through tax but we also have the choice to pay for private medical care if we so wish and can afford it of course. RAY I NEVER SAID YOU DID NOT!!!

  1. McCain is not just racist and anti-British, he's anti-world! In UK, Canada, Australia, the healthcare system is like heaven on earth, compared to the US system. So the rich republicans try to dumb people down into believing all these countries are socialist and going the wrong way, and the government should never tax the rich but only the poor, never give a dime on healthcare or education, and spend all the budget only on millitary, bureaucracy, and preferential contracts to their buddies like Halliburton, Blackwater, and so on!
  2. dont matter, this is america motherf***er!
  3. We only put up with Canada because we like the beer. England we don't have to look at.
  4. What ? Read the reports ....... Their health care (run by government) doesn't work , their are people in those countries are on waiting lists for simple operations . Many of them that can afford it come to this country for health care. .........I wonder why ?
  5. Because unlike Obama, McCain isn't out to make best friends with every nation so he can one day move in and rule the entire world. Socialized medicine is not a good thing. Canadians are not satisfied with their level of health care, and neither is Britain. Stop trying to pain McCain as a bigot. You look like a fool every time.
  6. Because he's a closed minded xenophobe.
  7. Because this is America. We aren't the rest of the world. We don't do what the rest of the world is doing, we do what is RIGHT.
  8. i got to experience englands health care when i lived there for 4 years. it was horrible. i want to spit too when i think about it!
  9. It wasn't anti-Brit or anti-Canuck. His comment was regarding socialized medicine. The two countries most commonly known among Americans to utilize socialize medicine are Canada and the UK. It didn't work there, and it won't work here. That was his point. ~M~
  10. are you serious? please everyone wants it to be racial and that's the most immature idea of any political race I have witnessed. He is anti socialism which is what type of health care system Malbama wants
  11. Not really racist, just ethnocentric (pretty much the same thing, but having to with thinking your country is better than another, rather than your race being better than another.)... I felt that the way he said it was a direct slap in the face to our allies. His voice was full of disdain, and he pretty much said, "see what Canada and Britain are doing? That's a bad idea... let's not do that." Way to build bridges, there, McShame. Especially since Canada's and Britain's heath care systems are actually more stable than ours is. Not to mention, the people are healthier, and therefore, more productive.
  12. Well that is like saying your American if you speak highly on other countries. I don't think that McCain knows enough about the way the system works in other countries and why. If it was up to him he would probably want to bomb bomb bomb canada....ha ha.
  13. Well to McCain being racist, and thinking America-is-the-world-super-power-and-everything-else-sucks, is two very different things. Or at least thats what he has shown.
  14. Not racist, I saw the debate and this was about health care. Now I happen to live in Canada and lived in Holland where we do have the health care that is so frightening to McCain for some dubious reason. I really don't see anything wrong with having basic health care coverage for everyone that is costing me less then $1000 a year and will take care of costs of going to the doctor and hospital. Just out of curiosity, how much does YOUR healthcare cost? It seems some ppl in the states MUCH rather spend thousands of dollars including the chunk where they have to pay for the ones that cannot afford health care and still need the use of hospitals and doctors.
  15. this is McCain lol he is Mavericky all the time lol he does not care what others think He just want to be in the white house so bad.... lol
  16. i do not think so, he is of British descent ultimately
  17. He likes to attack anyone different. It's his military upbringing--if you're not an American, you're the enemy. Remember, this is a man who said he wouldn't meet with the head of Spain, and Spain's our ally!
  18. Because Obama said he would unilaterally rework NAFTA. That is a totally asinine statement. That's why That's called breaking a treaty.
  19. Because he was being patriotic, which means America good, everyone else bad.
  20. No Bobby It just that it is all we hear ''we have free health care and you don't and did we tell you it's free and you don't have it but we have have it and it's free'' If we wanted it we would have it but we know it's not free and someone has to pay for it It does get tiresome Bobby well have it for everyone as well That is why Mexican women run across to have their kids I know y'all believe M Moore as you want too But if a hospital does not treat someone who really needs help they.....You know Bobby i have had to explain this 100's of times I don't want too any more WE HAVE HEALTH CARE FOR EVERYONE AND IT"S FREE FOR THEM I really don't kmow how else to say it
  21. Why should he care about health care, he doesn't even know how many houses he owns
  22. That 'RAY' feller is certainly full of shi*te! So he has repeated his sh*te 100 times, that makes it sh*te x 100! Around 40% of Americans don't have health insurance , they cant afford it, so why should they worry about that if they get looked after regardless?? American politics? I try to keep out if I can , but the very thought of any mention of Socialism sends the warning signals out to many. I feel sorry for the American people in general, I have been reading on this forum for ages how much Bush has been despised, yet they have a Bush copy waiting in the side lines, will they vote for him?? Then they have as an alternative a feller who could be either some sort of pinko communist or maybe even an arab terrorist? How will they choose?? Their business not mine. What ever they think of Brits or Canadians will have little bearing on my life , I suppose I am a sort of Brit pinko communist, I would not like to see my fellow man die because I dont think I should pay towards his health care. I dont think we can judge all Americans on a few sentiments spoken by Bushes stand in. And that answer you got from that RAY feller? Unbelievable, I have lived and worked in America, true it was for an American Company , they paid for all my medi care insurance stuff , they impressed upon me the need for this, I would of course recieve any very basic treatment I may need, without this insurance, which meant if I was knocked down and had a brain tumor, they would stick a band aid on my head for free. But the Company was paying for my cover, so what did I care? I would never wish to see my fellow man treated in this way, where ever they came from.
  23. Like all self interested greedy republicans, McC lives in fear of socialism, even a small amount of it. Yet, he said nothing when his president went ahead and virtually nationalised most of the big banks in the States. Socialism is the method used by bush to help save the banks and thus the economy. Let's hope it works. McC is in fear of the people, who he knows yearn for a healthcare program similar to that enjoyed in Canada and the UK. A Londoner. . . .
