- drugs i suppose it's happened to me and it's intimidating, even when they're being polite
- Was he a Jehova's Witness?
- Scabs. I give money to muscians, but not wankers like that. I know of this guy who gets around £60-100 a day
- I dont give any of them money, as i dont want to feel guilty for fuelling thier addiction so instead ill buy them a sandwich or something and a can of coke etc. that way if they really are desperate they'll be chuffed
- I'm not sure what answer you're looking for, but I don't think that that's acceptable anywhere. I may be wrong, though; there could be religions and/or countries in which this is perfectly acceptable. In general, though, I do not think that this is acceptable in Britain.
- It's funny you should ask this, when I was in London studying last year I was approached by a well dressed man who looked like he could have worked in the bank district. This fool had the nerve to ask me for a pound! I quickly said "no" and kept walking. I thought it was so weird, normally where I'm from only guys who look like bums ask for money, so I was totally taken aback. I bet he was jonesing for some drugs and was really desperate.
