Mr Britain

Has Mr Putin got a short memory?

Mr. Putin has now insulted Britain by saying he is glad Russia was not a British Colony. The dispute is all over the extradition of a Russian national for murder. Perhaps this president has forgotten the number of convoys that the Brits sent to Russia in 1940 resulting the loss of life to many British sailors to help them against Germany. Yes I do rember it, but does Mr.Putin. Do readers agree.

  1. Given that Mr. Putin was formerly with the KGB, I seriously doubt that he has a short memory.
  2. Mr Putin is evil from the tip of his hair to the tips of his toes. I don't think he cares who has helped them out in the past. I also think he has something to do with several murders lately. The Russian people need to wake up and see the long dark tunnel their leader is taking them down.
  3. Oh, so now Russia must be held hostage to the wishes of the UK because 60 years ago britain helped them? WTF? Britain helped the soviets far less than the soviets helped the british. Yeah, some little overrated convoys helped more to destroy germany than 20 million soviet soldiers firing day and night... Russia has asked over 20 times for the extradition of a couple of chechen terrorists living in London and i think also of some oil businessman. Britain has refused, now the russians refuse to hand over their own guy (doing so is nothing short of treason). What do you expect? Russia is a sovereign state and can do as it pleases, even turning off the gas.
  4. Hehe ,dude ,sorry but you're not OK. Do you know that the Russian casualties in the Second World War are 20 million !!!! In fact ,only the Soviet Union is the thing that saved Europe from the Nazis...well...except that honestly I'd prefer Nazism instead of Communism haha :-D And why should the Russians agree to extradite this guy ? Did the Brits extradite the KGB agent who lived in London (and who was killed by this guy that the Brits want) ? No! Did they extradite the Chechenyan terrorists ? No! Well - Favor for a favor. If Britain doesn't make any compromises ,Russia won't too. And it's funny how some of the people above talk about Putin without even knowing anything about him. Come on ,that's ridiculous. "He's evil ..bla-bla". Well ,OK ,and so what if he if ? Is he evil to his own country and his people - No! So ,do you think that the Russians (well..probably most of them) care what he's told to Great Britain. Until he protects the interests of Russia - he'll be it's president. And on the last elections we saw if that's true. And yes ,Russia is an independent country and they can do whatever they want. So please, look at both sides of the coin ,not only the side that you like. PS: I'm not a Russian. I think it's good to make it clear :-D
