Mr Britain

World War II,.. did Britain win the war, but lose the fight when it came to immigration?

I ask this because to me it seems the second world war was to keep Britain 'British',... so how come that so many goverments in the UK have allowed so many non-british to move and stay here,... and now we have all the problems we do. Make sense? I can't help but think of all those in WWII who put their lives on the line to keep the Germans out,.. and now the goverment has willy-nilly let nearly every other nationality into our country and it's now really going downhill... this country seems to be getting more and more tense as trouble becomes more and more severe on a daily basis. It infuriates me to know that this is going on. I'm British and bloody proud of it. What's going on Mr Blair? What happened to the immigration laws??? Do you think Britain would be a better, safer, more tolerant, law-abiding, non-fundementalist, and generally trouble free place to live if immigration back in the 1940's-1950's had been heavily restricted? Would like to know your answers,.. from anyone.

  1. I agree with you 100%. I feel like the odd one out sometimes when I go to certain areas.
  2. WW II was to keep the world from becoming Natzi. Plain and simple.
  3. Good questions. And a carefully-reasoned reply may be found in Melanie Phillips' new book Londonistan. Here she traces the history of political-correctness and the deadly effect it has had on freedom and public safety in England. I recommend you read this book to get a good historical background on England's present-day mess.
  4. If only Germany had won,, again the USA fought the wrong people. If Hitler had been able to succeed in his ethnic cleansing there would be a world Utopia now. Oh well,, maybe this time,,,
  5. You have made a couple of mistakes, Russia won the war, the U.S. came second and we came third. the war had nothing to do with keeping Britain British, the Germans had no intention of attacking Britain if we hadn't joined with the french. we fought to stop the Germans from dominating Europe. immigration is the life blood of this country for a number of reasons. without immigrants we'd have an aging population with a shrinking tax and investment base, who would be paying the tax for your pension and topping up private pension funds. who would be doing the cleaning in the early hours, where would you get security guards from. homogeneous societies tend to be dull and moribund, diverse ones lively, vibrant and creative. but most important of all could you live without chicken tika massala, and where would you buy your beer and cigarettes after 6:00 pm and on Christmas day
  6. I agree we should ship em all out and lock the door
