11. Got to be the Ford Focus in Silver. Closely followed by the new Honda Civic, again in silver/grey BMW 3 series now the motor of choice for the rep, making the new Mondeo the one to go for if you want to be different. Oh how things have changed.

Frankly Mr. Shankley (couldn't resist...sorry!) the UK market always edges towards the small family hatchback style of automobile...so if I recall correctly, Autoexpress deduced that the ford focus and the vauxhall astra are the two top sellers - cheap, reliable, plenty of engine/spec choice, and quite stylish in their own way. Therefore appealing to the average wage earner, with the average family, that requires the average 0% finance deal, from their average dealer, down the average road from their average house in their average town. And why not get it in an average colour - red, silver or black.
