So I am 6'4", 165lbs and want to start exercising. I was planning on doing some weight lifting and than every other day go for a jog. I told a friend who is exercising already and he said that was a bad idea because the muscle I will be building will be burned away from the jogging I'll be doing. It doesn't make sense to me, but is this true? Am I going to have to lift weights for awhile, and then I can throw in some jogging?
