What kind of weight lifting stunts your growth?
I want to know what kind of weight lifting stunts your growth because i want to work out but im 14 and only 5 1 so i wanna grow. Does benching stunt your growth? If not then what does?

- Building too much muscle might put too much tension on your bones and make it harder for them to grow. In other words, if you're going to exercise while you're still growing, do stuff like aerobics/jogging/running/swimming instead.
- No type of weight lifting stunts your growth, it's a myth. It would only be possible if you somehow damaged your body by doing something stupid or having terrible form.
- Weight lifting WILL NOT.....repeat WILL NOT under any circumstances stunt your growth! This is a MYTH.....100% proven myth! Period!!! ---- Dead lifting is the ONE weight lifting exercise that puts THE MOST weight and pressure downward on your body, yet it actually CAUSES GROWTH! Deadlifting is the MOST anabolic exercise there is, it releases TONS of hormones and it an entire body workout. That single exercise PROVES it to be purely a myth. Gravity pushes down harder on your body than most barbell weight will.....yet IT doesn't stop you from growing. Do ANY exercise you want with weight, go nuts, it DOESN'T stunt growth, period end of story.
- those that said it doesn't stunt your growt were right just look at arnold and triple h they both started at 14 and both are over 6 feet tall.
