How do you measure weight lifting to determine overall champion?

Is there a formula that is used to determine the pound for pound champion with regards to weight lifting?

1. haha, kinda weird question there is probably some huge competition with a few different excercises but im pretty sure there are different chamions for different weight classes, etc. I dont think there is an overall champion, in terms of a true title
